We’re 25 days into spring here on the East Coast, where we get to experience the extremes of all four seasons – usually all at once. However, it was unusually warm this week (sunny and 73 degrees), at least in New York, where Tom Holland was seen wearing this gorgeous purple sweatshirt from PANGAIA. He wore it with a baby blue beanie, pristine, wide-leg khakis, and Sean Wotherspoon-designed Nike Air Max sneakers.
Holland gave a good example of how to dress as the weather changes throughout the day by layering. If it’s cool in the morning, you may wear the beanie, hoodie over a T-shirt, and breathable yet elegant khakis without sweating through. He chose each piece in a seasonally suitable color, allowing the thick hoodie and ribbed beanie to blend in even as the weather reaches its peak.
It’s a simple rule to follow: wear warm yet in seasonally appropriate colors. Dark browns, blacks, and even olive aren’t particularly springy, so choose a color that will stand out. And it’s fine to wear the same organic cotton sweatshirt as Spider-Man, which is officially known as the 365 Hoodie. PANGAIA currently has this color, Orchid Purple, as well as a variety of other shades in stock. Each one was created utilizing a recycled water system, making these colors far healthier for the environment than standard color manufacturers.
While on set someplace other than rain- and wind-swept London, young Mr. Holland took a sunset photo to Instagram, sporting a sweatshirt with a message that sums up how we all feel about 2020: “Stuff happens.” Things do happen! It has occurred! It is presently occurring indefinitely and without pause! This might leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. But don’t open your mouth!
