Actor and politician Krishnam Raju died on September 11 at the age of 83 from COVID-19 complications at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hospitals in Hyderabad, India. Over 183 films featured Krishnam Raju as a leading man. He made his screen debut in 1966 with the movie Chilaka, and because of his rebellious performance, he later came to be known as the “Rebel Star.”

Several Tollywood actors, including Vijay Deverakonda, Mahesh Babu, Jr. NTR, Chiranjeevi, Anushka Shetty, and Sai Dharam Tej, expressed their respects to the late actor after his demise. On Sunday, Vijay Deverakonda was seen visiting Krishnam Raju at his home in Hyderabad. However, as he and Prabhas paid their final respects to the rebel star, he was seen joining his hands. In another video, Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi can be seen comforting Prabhas as he tears excessively.

In addition, Allu Arjun showed up to offer his condolences and respect, and he was seen consoling Prabhas. On Monday afternoon, at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills, the former Union minister U.V. Krishnam Raju’s funeral services will be held. His mortal remains have been kept at his house, where they will stay until Monday afternoon to allow his supporters to pay their respects and offer their sympathies.
