In an interview that the celebrities had with NDTV, Neetu and Anil talked about the marriage age, and their children’s perspectives. Anil Kapoor, whose daughters Sonam and Rhea are married and whose son Harsh Varrdhan is not, said he’s never pressured his children. “I’ve never been into that kind of situation that ‘this is the way it should be’… whatever makes them happy, makes me happy. I think that’s the way, live and let live,” he said.
Neetu Kapoor said that there is no right age to get married but it’s important to find the right person. “I think nowadays parents are not like that. You have to let them be, when they are ready to get married they will. When the right time comes, the right person comes. You can’t be pushed. Age is not the problem, the problem is the right person. You have to feel comfortable that ok, this is the one, I’m going to spend my life with this person,” she told NDTV.
