In any way we can, we’re attempting to get out of the shitshow that is 2020. Be it viewing old-fashioned films, binge-watching series from our youth, or even browsing the funniest memes online. We have all evolved into nihilistic escapists looking for any pleasure in escaping the current, grim reality, and no amount of movies are extra at this point.

Music can be a means of escaping the present. More particularly, the music that we were exposed to as children played a significant role in our upbringing. Bollywood movies included a lot of pop and romantic music twenty years ago, in keeping with the films’ obsession with ladka-ladki love storylines.

So, let’s go on a brief trip down memory lane. And let’s hope none of these fantastic songs ever get remixed.

1.AYE DIL LAYA HAI BAHAAR – KYA KEHNA

Okay, so perhaps we overstated the case when we said that songs should be original because this song is a parody of Neil Sedaka’s Oh! Carol. Nevertheless, the magnificent sequence in which Priya’s birthday was celebrated by this adorable family in a stunning hill resort (maybe Manali) is what made Aye Dil Laya Hai Bahaar so well-known.

2. HAI MERA DIL – JOSH

OMG, everyone’s favorite love song was this. We were DARED to sing Hai Mera Dil to our crushes, therefore it became a hit in every school. It’s a sweet song, and Ash looks fantastic as usual. Sung by the all-time most recognizable pair, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

3. MEHBOOB MERE – FIZA

Mehboob Mere is impossible to forget. This song, performed by a young Sunidhi Chauhan, was a hit at every gathering. It was my particular favorite song throughout my early youth and was aired endlessly on MTV. We can confidently state that Mehboob Mere will unquestionably be eternal in our memories and in our cinematic history because Sushmita Sen was just hot in this dance sequence.
