Bae Suzy is a popular stage name for the South Korean singer, actress, and model. She belonged to Miss A, a girl group from JYP Entertainment. She made her acting debut in the 2011 television series Dream High, and since then, she has appeared in a number of additional programs, including Gu Family Book (2013), Uncontrollably Fond (2016), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Vagabond (2019), and Start-Up (2020). In her debut film, Architecture 101, she made an appearance (2012). She has been referred to as “The Nation’s First Love” in her own country since her successful acting debut.

The following year, she featured in the Coupang Play television series Anna as Lee Anna/Lee Yu-mi, a character who adopts a new identity after fabricating a minor lie that begins her new life. The six-episode series received high accolades from viewers for Bae’s acting abilities and how she conveyed the emotions of the character Anna.
