The full name of the speaker is Billie Eilish. American singer-songwriter Pirate Baird O’Connell, born on December 18, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, initially rose to prominence in 2015 with the song “Ocean Eyes.” In 2020, he became the youngest person ever to win a Grammy for album of the year.
Eilish’s parents were motivated by Hanson, a 1990s pop band made up of homeschooled brothers from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to educate their children at home and encourage them to pursue interests outside the conventional educational system. Eilish experimented with horseback riding, dance, and singing as a young child while singing with the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus. Eilish’s older brother, Finneas Baird O’Connell, who goes by the stage name FINNEAS, asked her to sing “Ocean Eyes” in 2015; he had written and recorded the song for the time his band and later posted it online. Following the song’s swift success, Eilish inked a deal with the small label Darkroom in the summer of 2016.

Where Do We Go When We All Fall Asleep??, her debut album, was released on March 29, 2019, and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Eilish’s first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart was the album’s song, “Bad Guy,” which won the Grammy for song of the year in 2020 along with the album. 2019 saw Eilish also release the tune “Everything I Wanted,” which went on to win the Grammy for Record of the Year. Then, in 2021, the film Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry. Later that year, Eilish released her second studio album, Happier than Ever.
