On Friday, October 28, YG Entertainment exclusively announced the final dates and destinations for Blackpink’s grand world tour as “Born Pink”. That being said, according to the poster Blackpink would meet fans in nine cities in Asia and would also give off three additional performances from the previous schedules.
The Asia trip will commence on January 7 and 8 in Bangkok. Next, the group will head to Hong Kong from January 13 to 15, Riyadh on January 20, Abu Dhabi on January 28, Kuala Lumpur on March 4, Jakarta on March 11 and 12, Manila on March 25 and 26, and Singapore on May 13.
Due to its enormous scope, the announcement in particular attracted additional attention and excitement. BLACKPINK’s trip will mark the debut of a solo concert by a girl group in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, as stated in Soompi.
YG Entertainment further said, “Besides Hong Kong, all eight [concert locations] are stadiums. This will be the largest-scale Asia stadium tour among all girl groups in the world.”
