Jisoo of Blackpink had fans’ phones ringing as she patiently answered many Blinks on Weverse, addressing questions about her favorite colors, foods, and other preferences. When Blink inquired why she wasn’t sleeping, she said that she was ‘coming to play’ before going to bed. Jisoo had returned to the interactive site after a lengthy absence.
When a Blink indicated they ‘wanted to give up and sleep,’ Jisoo, who is known for her witty responses, had the appropriate response. “I didn’t raise weak Blinks,” she said. “I know, I need to sleep,” she said, “but I can’t fall asleep with my phone in my hand.” Another admirer advised her to get some rest. “Strawberry milk,” she answered when others asked for a late-night snack tip. “Can you write the names of the members with your eyes closed?” inquired A Blink.
“I’m a high school student who began working hard in 2017 and this year, so I’m grateful that all of my elementary, middle and high school kids may attend as a fandom named Blink!” commented one fan. “In the future, I shall continue to blink!” “Go and go to college student Blink!!,” Jisoo said.
Jisoo made her acting debut in Jung Hae-in’s controversial drama Snowdrop. Su Ho (Jung Hae-in), a student, is found injured by Young Ro (Blackpink’s Jisoo) in the series, which follows their tragic love story. Despite fears of surveillance, she hides him in her dormitory. The show earned low ratings in South Korea and was accused of ‘distorting’ history.
