Rose, the South Korea-based singer, and dancer from New Zealand is from the popular K-pop girl group, Blackpink. She is a part of one of the most successful 3rd generation k-pop bands. And she has been making quite a name for herself in the industry as well.

Rose announced her career as a solo artist back in 2020. Her first work as a solo artist was her single, On the Ground which came out in March 2021. The song as well as the music video did quite well and has more than 2 million views on Youtube! Gone was the artist’s next single. The music video dropped on the 4th of April 2021.

Her song, Gone reached 100 million views on Youtube 3 months after its release! The song is about experiences after a beak-up. The lyrics themselves paint a sad picture the music video just enhanced the sombre aesthetic.

Her sad song starts with a sweet aesthetic as she reminisces the good times from the relationship which is now ‘dead and gone. And as the song continues, the colour bleeds out of the video that portrays just that. The guitar and Rose’s beautiful vocals accompanying the visuals make for quite a tear-jerker! But Blinks love this song just the same!
