GOT7 is a popular South Korean Boy band formed under JYP Entertainment. They debuted in 2014 and ventured into the Japanese market to release their debut single “Around The world”. The boy band has been giving us major hits over the years.
Recently news broke that GOT7’s contract with JYP entertainment has expired, and the GOT7 boys Mark, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Yugyeom, JB, BamBam and Jackson have taken a collaborative decision to not renew the contract.
The news of GOT7’s departure from the agency was confirmed after JYP Entertainment released an official statement on 11th January regarding the group’s departure.
According to Soompi.com the statement by JYP said that both sides GOT7 as well as JYP has decided on not to renew the contract due to some disagreements, and are hoping for a fresh future. The agency thanked GOT7 for contributing to the growth of Kpop and performing exceptionally well since the start. They ended their statement by wishing good luck to the members of GOT7 for their future plans.

According to Dispatch Jinyoung has been talking with BH Entertainment, Youngjae is scouted by an agency called Sublime Artist, there is news of Yugyeom is talking to AOMG,
JB has been receiving several offers for a solo contract. Jackson is looking forward to work on his own label, Team Wang, with some agency, BamBam is talking with MakeUs Entertainment, while Mark is planning to return to the US to be with his family.
