In an interview, Gomez admitted a lot of interesting stuff that she experienced after collaborating with the Blackpink band and also on how she felt working with Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé.
For Selena, working in the K-pop industry felt good and gave her pleasure. Selena added, “Especially because of how warm and welcoming the audience has been,” she smiles. Selena and Blackpink practiced the song face to face during a pandemic. But the vocalist, who very much enjoyed the experience, says, “It’s also been a learning process because the language was new. But, somehow our distinct styles, along with their energy… we just fit together perfectly”, adding, “The BLACKPINK girls were so welcoming, we had an absolute blast while working on the song,” said Selena, as per TOI news.
“Ice Cream”, which was released online last August, has earned over 490 million views on YouTube till today, it might peak on the highest very soon.
