The BTS boy group member Min Yoon-Gi aka Suga is the cutest and the most adorable member of the group. The twenty-seven-year-old Kpop star is exceptionally talented and a down to earth soul. Let’s take a look at a few of the most interesting stories about our favourite Bangton boy Suga.

Suga was destined to be a singer and part of BTS, even when he never intended to. In an interview with the television programme Rookie King Channel BTS in 2013 Suga told them that “I didn’t want to become a rapper, I wanted to become a composer. That’s why I joined the agency,” he added that the agency’s founder and co-CEO Bang Si-hyuk “tricked” him into becoming a music artist.

Suga loved basketball as a kid and often played the sport. His stage name Suga obtains its first two syllables from his position in basketball, that is “shooting guard”. Suga’s height is 1.78 meters and he hoped to grow till 1.8 meters. But after a motorcycle accident, Suga injured his shoulder which restricted him from doing rigorous actives and playing sports like basketball.

Sugar has two popular nicknames Motionless Min and Mr Appendix, Motionless Min because during his free time Suga doesn’t do anything but sit idle and Mr. Appendix because Suga underwent appendicitis surgery in 2013.
