BTS members always use their platform for good deeds. They are vocal and take stand against societal injustice. BTS member Park Ji-min aka Jimin used his popularity to spread awareness about child abuse in Korea.

Recently the South Korean singer with the help of weverse app issued an apology saying ‘Jungin-ah, I’m sorry’. Initially, this move from Jimin’s side left fans all over the world baffled. The curiosity for knowing the reason behind Jimin’s out of the blue apology, led to tons of Twitter discussions. BTS fans took it to Twitter to find out what happened.

Later a Twitter account that goes by the name choi_bts2 revealed that the apology is regarding an unfortunate event that took place in Korea. A little girl named Jungin who was just sixteen months lost her life, due to mistreatment from her adoptive parents. Several reports revealed that the child was mentally and physically abused by her parents. The event has left all of Korea in deep shock. The case was brought to the notice by SBS’ Unanswered Questions on Saturday, January 2.

Jimin used his global reach to shed light on child abuse and make everyone aware of the brutality that takes place in many nations.
