Imagine being able to say something like, “My friend is a BTS member.” Most individuals are unable to do so, but Chef Lee Yeon Bok is one of the few that can.
He has become #bestfriendgoals with none other than BTS’s Jin since meeting them on Please Take Care Of My Refrigerator in 2017, and they have established their status as loyal pals.
The two have constantly been seen hanging out with each other and sharing their meetings on social media.

During an episode of KBS’s Godfather on February 23, Chef Lee Yeon Bok showcased this friendship once more. While showing the hosts around his studio, he not only explained that Jin came by frequently, but he also displayed some of the items Jin had given him, including a bottle of wine…
He also mentioned that he’d gotten some of the famous strawberries. They’re the legendary fruits that Jin is known for delivering to his closest friends and family, including the members of BTS.
“Jin often comes to play when he has free time, comes with strawberries in the middle of the night, and is so kind”.
Aside from the gifts, one portion of the show stood out to viewers the most, and that was when Chef Lee Yeok Bok expressed how close they had become. The hosts noticed a large wine fridge in the corner of the room as they moved through into another room.
More observant viewers noted that the wine fridge, as well as some of the wine within, had a signature. Chef Lee Yeok Bok explained in the video that it was a surprise present from Jin.
“One day, he just ordered it for me from his phone from his seat in one sitting.”
Jin has been commended in the past for his considerate gifts to his pals. Jin is absolutely wholesome AF, whether it’s giving J-Hope a golden toilet brush for his birthday, keeping his word by gifting RM a bike, or presenting the legendary strawberries to his expectant sister-in-law.
Regardless of who they are, Jin seems to continue to display his actual self, which is nothing short of modest and kind.
