BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has been part of a popular South Korean band since its debut in 2013. The idol has risen to global fame, and the band has earned enough over the past nine years to make the members stay rich and happy. The boys earned as their million albums sold; they did several world tours with thousands of ARMYs attending their show, and brand endorsement and solo assignments have added to their earnings.

Recently, it was reported that the city of Goyang, mayor, had decided to honor Kim Taehyung, aka V, as one of the three individuals for tax paying habits and for contributing to the city’s revenue. Therefore, an award ceremony was held for three individuals, including V and five corporations, who have successfully paid their taxes. However, V couldn’t attend the event because of a pre-planned schedule, so he sent his father on his behalf to receive the honor of merit.

Soon after the news broke out, fans were glad to surface this news and V’s contribution. The boy joined the elite group of singers awarded for paying tax in their 20s. The list earlier had Girls Generation’s YoonA in 2015, IU in 2020, and SHINee’s Taemin in 2021, who have been praised for their gestures.
