Kylie Jenner’s mountain getaway appeared to be light on powder but heavy on Instagram posing in high-end skiwear. The reality star wore Fendi and Moncler Genius duvet-day coats and suits, but Chanel spruced up her slopestyle the majority of the time.
The Coco Neige collection focused on winter sports, has been boosted by the French label, with hi-tech pieces underpinned by the same Chanel standards as its ready-to-wear. Jenner’s edit includes a logo-printed jumpsuit that has swiftly become the cult all-in-one of the holidays, as well as mountain accessories like fluffy ear muffs, stoles, gloves, and wrist warmers bearing the brand’s interlocking Cs.
The ecru and black wool one-piece are as Chanel skiwear gets, with the company name printed on it. As a result, the £2,580 suit has made Cardi B’s and Kasey Musgraves’ winter wish lists, as well as Jenner’s. Although none of the three appear to have attempted a mountain descent in the logoed athleisure, they have shown the design’s flexibility in the city.
In August, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper was one of the first to get on the bandwagon. She made up for the lack of a snowscape with Chanel diamonds, and the photo of her lounging casually in her onesie has since received three million likes. Musgraves also demonstrated the versatility of Chanel skiwear by zipping hers up and attending the brand’s Christmas party at The Standard in New York this week.
