1. Our Blues
“With You,” an OST for the tv K-Drama Our Blues, was just released by Jimin and his friend, singer Ha Sung Woon. Our Blues is a 2022 Korean drama that follows an ensemble cast of characters who live and work on Jeju Island through an omnibus format. Kim Woo Bin, Han Ji Min, and a slew of other must-see actors star in the drama.
2. The Notebook
Everyone has a favorite movie that they watch over and over. Jimin’s favorite film is The Notebook. He’s already seen it seven times! The Notebook is a 2004 romantic comedy film based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel of the same name. In the 1940s, it stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a star-crossed couple.
3. Sky Castle
Jimin, like Suga and RM, enjoys Sky Castle, a 2018-2019 K-Drama about wealthy parents who will go to any length to ensure their children’s success and elevate their families’ social position. Jimin’s schedule is often jam-packed, but he enjoys unwinding with a good binge-worthy TV, just like many of us!
4. Cold Eyes
If romance isn’t your thing, this 2013 action-thriller might be for you. Cold Eyes features a group of cops from a special crime squad who are tasked with apprehending a violent criminal gang. It’s a South Korean version of the Hong Kong film Eye in the Sky, which came out in 2007.
5. One Piece
Jimin once received a One Piece action figure (Roronoa Zoro) as a birthday present, and he was overjoyed! Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body turns to rubber after eating a Devil Fruit, is the protagonist of the Japanese manga and anime series One Piece. Monkey D. Luffy and his crew embark on a quest to recover the wealth left behind by Gold Roger, a famous pirate.
