On July 22–23 and July 29–30, North and South America will host the official “BLACKPINK x PUBG Mobile 2022 In-Game Concert: The Virtual.” The concert will be on July 23–24 and July 30-31 in all other nations.
According to a YG Entertainment presenter, “The high-quality technology of the game production business PUBGM will bring the three-dimensional sounds and performances to life in addition to the members’ three-dimensional avatars.” In addition, they stated, “BLACKPINK will debut a memorable song at ‘The Virtual. Fans will get a brand-new experience thanks to the concert that will be in virtual reality. Motion capture will be used to finish the performances, giving them a realistic feel.
Since the game used songs from BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” as the lobby background music for PUBG Mobile, this will be the girl group’s second collaboration with PUBG.
