“Keep your uniqueness intact, feel inspired, but don’t attempt to transform yourself into anyone specific artist,” preaches singer Dhvani Bhanushali, who has received acclaim and accolades for each song she has released on the internet. The musician has returned with a new track, ‘Radha,’ which is gaining a lot of attention on the internet. Following the release of the song, ETimes spoke with the 23-year-old singer, who discussed her career in music, dealing with celebrities at a young age, and the creative process she uses to make her work stand out.

I’ve gained confidence throughout the years. Many people will say many things to you, but you must focus on the correct things since, at the end of the day, everyone will have an opinion. I’ve learnt to attract what I want and to trust my intuition. That’s the main point I’d want to make. I’ve also learnt that music is quite crucial, as the quality of your songs is always a factor. Nothing else counts except how conscious you are of the work you’re doing and how effective it is.

I’ll always be the character; I don’t truly act. My personalities change depending on the type of love I want to talk about, display, or write about. ‘Radha’ is a song dedicated to all the females who are unable to express themselves. This song is just a homage to that sentiment. I get the impression that I am one of them, and that I speak for all of them.

Yes, it’s overwhelming, but I’m excited about it at the same time. You won’t be able to progress if you take success too seriously. If you’re relaxed about it and live for it, I believe it’s an amazing joy to feel that way anytime it happens. You are pleased with yourself and the things you perform
