Kelly Clarkson stopped wearing cosmetics because she couldn’t work with her team of trusted specialists because of the tight constraints during the lockdown. In a recent episode of The Voice, she also took the names of her makeup artist Gloria Elias-Foeillet, stylist Candice Lambert McAndrews, and hairstylist Robert Ramos, all of whom she works with on the show, according to Good Housekeeping.
The singer is spending the lockdown period at her Montana ranch with her family. Despite the fact that she continues to record The Voice episodes at home, she is unable to replicate the same conditions that exist in a studio environment such as Universal Studios Hollywood. Kelly decided to go for a natural appearance rather than wasting time, energy, and finances trying to learn intricate makeup and hairstyling techniques. Despite the fact that there were no ideological motivations for the courageous act, many spectators viewed it as a feminist statement.
While some of the audience praised her, some even went out of their way to criticize her new look. However, we can all agree that even without any makeup, Kelly looks as beautiful as she always does. Not to mention her soulful voice with which she keeps amazing us even further.
