But their wedding wasn’t long-lived as destiny influenced its harsh role. They courted each other for nine years. Madhubala immediately confessed yes to Kumar’s request, and in 1960, they got married.

Kishore also converted himself to Islam religion and altered his phrase to Karim Abdul for the want of her parents. Nonetheless, she was never approved in Kumar’s household despite a Hindu marriage. All this turmoil took a toll on her mental condition.

After a few periods, Kishore and Madhubala departed for London, where Madhubala was facing health problems; doctors disclosed that she possesses a heart disease that has become very worse and incurable, and Madhubala has only two years to reside.

After understanding that Madhubala has a void in her heart, Kishore Kumar left Madhubala at her parent’s family, he believed he could not take care of Madhubala as he was involved with shoots.

Announcements indicate that Madhubala needed Kumar’s affection and assistance at the time of such impossible times. So Kumar purchased a flat at QuarterDeck, Carter Road, where they dwelled for a time. But she would be lonely lots of the time. The ocean wind made her sicker.

Madhubala’s brother Madhur in a conference said that Kishore would attend her once in two to three months. Madhubala was restricted to bed for nine years and was lessened to bones and skin. Madhubala breathed her last on February 23, 1969. She and Kishore never gave birth to children.
