You probably didn’t know Tom Cruise enjoys chicken tikka masala. Neither did we. However, his visit to Asha’s (in Birmingham, United Kingdom), an Indian cuisine restaurant owned by famous vocalist Asha Bhosle, suggests precisely that. The Mission: Impossible star was spotted outside the restaurant, smiling and posing with what appeared to be hotel personnel. The presence of the Hollywood actor in the UK eatery was noted by Asha Bhosle herself. In an Instagram post, she wrote: “I was very happy to hear that Mr. Tom Cruise enjoyed his fine dining experience at Asha’s (Birmingham).”
She has also invited him for another visit saying, “I look forward to him visiting us again soon!”
More information regarding Mr. Cruise’s visit was provided on the restaurant’s official Instagram page. “Tom ordered our famous Chicken Tikka Masala and enjoyed it so much that as soon as he finished, he ordered it all over again,” the caption stated.
It was the “best complement” the restaurant could have received from him, according to the restaurant. Celebrities such as Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones have visited Asha’s (Birmingham) in the past.
For Tom Cruise’s followers, his appearance at an Indian eatery was a valued occasion. On Asha Bhosle’s Instagram photo, many people remarked “Amazing.” Some people on the restaurant’s official Instagram page, however, questioned if Mr. Cruise had actually visited the establishment.
“That is not Tom Cruise,” another agreed.
As one Instagram user put it, “That’s not the case, TC. Definitely a stunt double or look-alike.”
According to Dailymail.co.uk, Mr. Cruise was seen only a few hours before at the Grand Central shopping centre and Birmingham’s Bullring, filming Mission: Impossible 7 with co-star Hayley Atwell. Mr. Cruise was seen in the identical attire as in this photo when he was photographed at Grand Central Station, according to another Express.co.uk story.
Some users were overjoyed when he showed up at the establishment.
One user almost slobbered and stated, “He ordered my favorite tikka masala?!”
Another user, with a sense of comedy, said, “The day before, we were there. He’s constantly late when he comes to see me. What’s his personality like?”
We can only assume that Mr. Cruise was too preoccupied with his chicken tikka dish to notice anything else.
