After a year of social distancing and virtual performances, the MTV Video Music Awards 2021 are back. Several A-list attendees walked the red carpet for the event, which took place last night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Justin Beiber, Lil Nas X, Travis Barker, Foo Fighters, Olivia Rodrigo, and many others wowed the audience at the ceremony. Each celebrity appeared to be as dazzling as the next, while some simply couldn’t keep up.
Many more things happened during the occasion as well. A confrontation broke out on the red carpet between Machine Gun Kelly and Conor McGregor. The Irish UFC fighter hurled his drink and a punch at MGK while being held back by his partner, Megan Fox, in a video that went viral on social media. As per Koimoi.
Olivia Rodrigo
The “good 4 u” singer looked lovely in a floor-length Atelier Versace gown that exuded elegance. The garment was made considerably more intriguing by the vibrant colors and eye-catching textured embellishments, despite the design being too typical.
Lil Nas X
In Atelier Versace, the singer of “Monetro” appeared as extravagant as ever. Is it a cape, a gown, or a suit? It’s all three, and Lil Nas X looked amazing in it, complete with complementing boots and a stunning hairdo.
Ed Sheeran
The “Bad Habits” singer was dressed in a Versace jacket and resembled Elton John. Ed Sheeran’s decision to wear the jacket on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards may have been a risk.
Doja Cat
Doja Cat donned a not Vivienne Westwood gown with an all-over design. It would have been preferable if the latex thigh-highs or the lace-up platform sandals had been worn instead of both.
Shawn Mendes
The ‘Stitches’ singer wore a loose summer suit by Mans to the MTV VMAs, which gave him a completely different atmosphere. With those gleaming black shoes, the ensemble has great flare and flair.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish prefers to be comfy, and that is exactly what her entire wardrobe is about. Although the singer’s comfy-goth appearance did not go over well, she does things on her own terms.
