You should listen to the girl group NewJeans! This five-piece band, a collaboration between HYBE & ADOR, will make their public debut in a few days, and they appear more prepared than ever to have a stellar debut. The emerging girl group’s youthful members, consisting of MINJI, HANNI, HYEIN, HAERIN, and DANIELLE, appear to have the internet in the palm of their hands, already. NewJeans’ official first album, “New Jeans,” has reportedly received an astounding 444,000 pre-orders as of July 27. The number is enormous for a group that was predicted but suddenly promoted.
The group has so far released two singles: “Attention” with a performance video and “Hype Boy” with a music video. The third song, “Hurt,” and its corresponding music video was revealed as part of the content’s unexpected release. On HYBE LABELS’ official YouTube channel, all of the tracks are accessible, although none have yet been made available on any music streaming services. With their unexpected but very welcoming musical shower, NewJeans fascinates everyone with their novel approach to a new group’s debut. The quintet is a welcoming change from the increasingly oversaturated K-pop music market that audiences have been subjected to.
