Jay B stated that he had depression and panic disorder pills in his luggage during an interview with ARENA Magazine, which he shared with followers in a “What’s in My Bag?” video. The magazine then inquired as to when he first realized he was depressed.

Jay B claims he had no idea he was depressed at the time. Instead, he believed that his mind was less capable than others and that it would pass. However, after an assessment, he was diagnosed with clinical depression and given a treatment plan.

Jay B was asked how he was doing without seeing a psychiatrist during the assessment, and he candidly admitted that he was sad and depressed. Jay B was then told that, despite not being the type to express his emotions, his depression had moved to the point where he needed treatment.

He feels a lot better now that he’s on medicine and going to treatment. Jay B’s bravery was praised by ARENA Magazine.

In response, Jay B stated that after being diagnosed, he became more aware of the people around him. He realized that there are individuals around him who are ashamed of their despair and try to hide it and that there are also those who talk about their depression casually.

“I just wanted to say it,” Jay B confesses. “Though it is not that noticeable, depression is a very common yet very dangerous illness. Mental illness is an illness too. If one of my fans or just anyone who reads this interview feels depressed, I hope that they will not be ashamed of it and overcome the illness while undergoing treatment. It is not something to be ashamed of, and there is no need to hide it. Also, I cannot lie about the stuff in my bag while a ‘What’s in my bag?’ video, right? I hope that everyone can be lying.”

ARENA Magazine questioned Jay B if he was awful at lying in reaction to his comment that he wanted to be honest about his mental health. Jay B admitted that he is not a good liar and that if he had to lie, he would prefer not to speak.

The GOT7 leader claims to be an honest, straightforward person who despises beating about the bush.
