Selena Gomez is putting a stop to body shamers who have an opinion about her weight.
The “Only Murders in the Building” actor, 29, released a series of videos on her TikTok story outlining why she will not be swayed by critics’ comments about her physique.
“I’m trying to keep slender, but I went to Jack in the Box and I had four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings, and a spicy chicken sandwich,” she explained in the first film.
“But honestly, I don’t care about my weight since people b—— about it anyhow,” she continued.
She mocked body shamers with her tone of voice.
“You’re too little. You’re far too huge. That doesn’t work. “Meh, meh, meh.”
In response, Gomez had a message for them: “B——, I am wonderful the way I am.”
In her final video, she said, “Moral of the story? Bye.”
In December, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer shared a TikTok video of Dr. Dawn Bantel, an Arizona-based naturopathic doctor, explaining that the CDC defines heavy drinking as “15 or more drinks per week for men and eight or more drinks per week for women.”
Gomez winced and murmured, “Oh,” in reaction to the depiction of excessive drinking.
In the comments, one fan chastised Gomez, writing, “So one of your best friends gives you her kidney and you continue to drink excessively.” “Damn you, Selena.”
Gomez, who underwent a kidney transplant from star Francia Raisa in 2017 due to lupus issues, said, “It was a joke a—.”
Despite these sorts of social media interactions, Gomez has stated that she isn’t worried about online hate since she doesn’t allow applications like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to overwhelm her time.
