On Weverse, Jin spoke with fans about the Kingdom, even threatening to reveal spoilers. Kingdom is a genre-defying horror series that blends political intrigue, history, and zombies into one package. In the 16th century, it follows Lee Chang, Crown Prince of Joseon, as he explores a mysterious ailment that leads to a fatal outbreak.

2. Jirisan-

On November 7, 2021, Jin’s OST “Yours” for the tvN K-Drama Jirisan was released. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and went on to break over a dozen records in its first week. Jirisan follows a team of rangers from the Jirisan National Park who venture across treacherous terrain in search of accident survivors and lost hikers.

3. Princess Mononoke-

Jin recommended this Studio Ghibli masterpiece to fans, whereas V recommended Howl’s, Moving Castle. The story revolves around an Emishi prince who witnesses a battle between forest gods and humans.

4. One Piece-

This long-running, legendary anime series is a favorite of several BTS members. Monkey D. Luffy, a child with a rubber-like physique, and his crew are on the hunt for a legendary pirate’s treasure in One Piece.

5. Dragon Ball Z-

The sequel to Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z follows Son Goku as he defends Earth against alien enemies, androids, magical beings, and more.

6. Pretty Woman-

If you enjoy traditional romantic comedies, this is the film for you! Pretty Woman is a 1990 film about a down-and-out prostitute who is recruited by a wealthy businessman to accompany him to social events. What starts off as a commercial deal turns into a romantic relationship.

7. Parasyte-

Both Jungkook and Jin have endorsed Parasyte, a horror anime about a teen who uses the parasitic alien’s abilities to combat extraterrestrial invaders on Earth.

8. The Matrix Trilogy-

In an interview with BTS’s ARMY.Zip, Jin stated that The Matrix films are among his favorites. Humans are locked in a synthetic reality in The Matrix, a science fiction action film released in 1999. A group of rebels fights back against the machines that are feeding on humanity’s energy through the simulation.

9. Boys Over Flowers-

Released in 2009, Boys Over Flowers is one of the most well-known K-Dramas of all time. It revolves around a working-class girl who attends a fancy high school and becomes involved with F4, a group of wealthy and popular lads.
