The military enrollment of BTS members has sparked a lot of discussions. According to South Korea’s presidential transition committee, BTS’ military deferment is a vital aspect of the country’s entertainment industry’s growth strategy. Furthermore, the transition committee supposedly meant to prepare military service options such as art and sports staff providers or volunteer activities only for consumer culture artists who are identified for highlighting South Korea’s national prestige premised on the modification of the three services in the military exemption rules awaiting approval in the National Assembly.
