Hip hop music, also regarded as rap music, is a genre of popular music that developed and came into being in the United States by inner-city African Americans and Latino Americans in the Bronx borough of New York City in the 1970s. It complies of stylized rhythmic music that commonly works as an alternative with rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted. It evolved as a part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing/rapping, DJing/scratching with turntables, break dancing, and graffiti writing. Other elements consist of sampling beats or bass lines from records, and rhythmic beatboxing. While often used to consider and regard solely to rapping, “hip hop” more properly denotes the practice of the entire subculture. Today we are going to have a look at two such rap artists who have left their imprints in the hearts of many.
Kanye Omari West is an American rapper, record producer, fashion designer, and politician. He has been influential in the 21st-century development of mainstream hip hop and popular music in general. Jacques Bermon Webster II, was born on April 30, 1991. Also regarded as Travis Scott is a USA-based rapper, vocalist, songwriter, and record producer. Scott’s musical style has been characterised as an amalgamation of traditional rap, hip hop, lo-fi and ambient.
Many of us are a fan, of steady fast rhythms and music and we get all these packed and provided in the form of rap songs. Both these rappers have done complete justice to the rap music world. Their hard work has paid off in the form of the success they have earned today. Both these artists are equally successful and popular, so it would be a bit difficult to judge as to who is the highest-paid rapper?
