On the most recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer opened out about the struggles that women face and how they should always trust their inner compass. She even admitted to being unsure about what would make her happy and how women must prioritize their happiness.
Kelly Clarkson recently spoke with author Glennon Doyle about women’s issues, and Doyle stated that women were not screwed up, but rather frequently screwed over. Goyle went on to say that they didn’t always need additional counseling, but rather reproductive freedom, equal pay, and the confidence to walk down their own neighborhoods.
She went on to say that people needed to remember that there was nothing wrong with them and that once they weren’t silenced and segregated, they should simply stop blaming themselves and each other and go out and alter the world to fit them, rather than the other way around.
Kelly Clarkson went on to explain, “I truly had to say it personally,” in response to what Goyle said. There were too many things for me to do, and there were too many locations for me to go to. I agree you can’t really excel at anything if you’re doing everything, you know what I mean”. She also responded to a fan who was torn between staying in Los Angeles and returning to his family on the East Coast, saying she understood completely.
