OMG! BTS Jimin’s Fan Accounts Banned By China’s Social Media Platform, But Why? Find Out

Find out the true reason here why BTS Jimin’s fan account is banned in China’s Social Media Platform.

Park Ji-min, popularly known as Jimin is a 25-year-old South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is recognized all around the globe for being one of the seven-member of the famous band ‘BTS.’ He made his debut with BTS in 2013.

Jimin is one of the most popular members of BTS. Though he looks cheerful and playful on stage, he is kind of an introvert in real life. BTS has near to 50 million followers on Instagram but not a single member has their individual Instagram account, they all use this same official Instagram account.

Many fan-made accounts are made in the name of the members of BTS. Some of the accounts have millions of followers on social media. One such account in the name of Jimin has been banned in China’s social media platform named Weibo. The account is accused of raising illegal funds and has been banned for 60 days.

Weibo issued a statement stating “Weibo firmly opposes such irrational star-chasing behavior and will deal with it seriously.” If you try to open that account’s page that it states “The account is temporarily banned from posting due to violating Weibo’s community regulations.” The account has over 1.1 million followers and reported that it has raised more than 2.3 million yuan just in an hour.
