What separates Palak Muchhal from the rest of her contemporaries is the fact that not just is she a great singer but she is an avid social worker. After all, not every singer holds her name in Guinness Book Of World Records and Limca Book Of World Records for contribution in social work right? Palak comes from a family which had no connection with music yet at the age of 4, she decided to be a singer and take the passion forward. Easy? Not at all. So when we at IWMBuzz asked Palak as to how did she earn the support from her family, she said and we quote,
“As I said, I don’t come from a family which had a connection with music. So initially, when I told my family about it, they were all surprised. But later, they realized my passion and they did support me throughout for this. I was touchwood a good student who always had her marks on the merit list. So academics was always taken care of. So that certainly helped me further. The support of family is very important and I am glad I have such lovely parents who helped me realize my dream. ”
