The Blackpink girls have made history with their music. By breaking records and setting new ones Blackpink has proved that they are the most talented girl group that the world has seen. Blackpink consists of four members Jennie, Rośe, Jisoo and Lisa. The group was formed by YG entertainment and dropped their first single album of 2016.
Let’s get to know a little bit more about the vocalist of the group, Jisoo
Kim Ji Soo who is popularly known by her stage name Jisoo is a south Korean singer as well as an actress. Jisoo joined YG Entertainment in the year 2011 by giving audition as a trainee. Before she became the member Blackpink, Jisoo made a cameo appearance in shows and worked in advertisements. She also did an advertisement with Samsonite alongside actor Lee Min Ho.
The twenty-six-year-old singer is the oldest members of Blackpink. Jisoo studied in the School of Performing Arts High School. She changed her school when her family had to move to Seoul, South Korea. Along with music Jisoo is also determined to take her acting career forward. She will be playing a lead role in the upcoming JTBC drama, Snowdrop. The drama is most likely to air on television in June 2021.
Jisoo is very much popular on social media and has a huge influence. In April 2019 Jisoo was ranked as the 10th most followed Kpop star on Instagram. She is also a local ambassador for Dior cosmetics brand since December 2019. Jisoo has also been a part of many ventures in fashion and global industry.
