Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani playback singer and musician who comes from a lineage of Sufi singers and Qawwali. He is the grandson of Qawwali singer Fateh Ali Khan. He is the famous Sufi singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab’s nephew. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab is still well-known for his Qawwali and Islamic devotional songs. From the age of just seven, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan began studying Qawwali with his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
