Seulgi is a popular South Korean singer and dancer. She is a member of the famous South Korean girl band ‘Red Velvet.’ She is also part of the subunit of Red Velvet. The band Red Velvet is managed by SM Entertainment.
Seulgi was the first confirmed member of the Red Velvet that was introduced to the public. She was also the first one to be recruited by SM Entertainment Rookies. She signed with them at a very young age and recently on a Youtube channel ‘KBS’, she revealed the real reason of joining this agency that too at that young age.
While having interaction with fans on the YouTube channel she said, “I have a big memory with this song too. There was a blood donation gathering that my dad participated in, and it was a big event. I joined the talent show there, and won 1st place with this song…?? Maybe…? Was it a popularity award…? Anyway, I received an award.”
She continued further by saying “Through this song, I was able to know BoA unnie better, and naturally know the company SM Entertainment. I guess it had an influence?”
