Red Velvet’s Yeri recently took a trip down memory lane and spilled the beans on her first acting debut in a K-drama.
In an interview with Star News, Yeri revealed that she was initially very nervous about acting in a drama because it was her first time. “I was so scared that I couldn’t even memorize my lines,” she admitted.
However, Yeri’s co-stars and the director were very supportive and helped her through the process. She revealed that her co-star Lee Joon-Gi specifically gave her a lot of advice and support, which helped her overcome her initial nerves.
Despite the challenges, Yeri said that she enjoyed the experience and was proud of her work. “It was a really meaningful experience for me,” she said. “I learned a lot and I’m glad that I was able to show a different side of myself through acting.”
Yeri made her acting debut in the 2019 K-drama “Lawless Lawyer” where she played the character of Ha Jae-Yi. She received positive reviews for her performance, with many praising her natural acting skills and ability to portray her character’s emotions.
Since then, Yeri has continued to expand her acting career, appearing in the K-drama “Hot Stove League” and the web drama “How to Hate You.” She has also expressed a desire to continue acting and try out different roles in the future.
Overall, Yeri’s first acting debut may have been nerve-wracking, but it ultimately paved the way for her to showcase her talent and grow as an actress. Fans can look forward to seeing more of Yeri’s acting skills in the future.
