We shouldn’t be surprised by Rihanna’s Instagram slayage at this point. We’ve seen her upload one incredible #OOTD after another, including a fairy-like Nina Ricci dress, winter-friendly Saint Laurent boots, and a Molly Goddard ball gown with sneakers that is everything but subtle. It should come as no wonder, therefore, when the celebrity shared the Gucci ensemble of our dreams on Instagram; yet, we’re still pulling our jaws up off the floor.
Riri’s newest outfit was a Gucci tracksuit from the pre-fall 2018 collection, which was covered with the brand’s double-G emblem and featured red, white, and blue color blocking. She paired her outfit with a crossbody bag in the same design, green ankle-strap shoes, and a brown leather coat hung over her shoulders.
But it was her choice of earring that was the true show-stopper. The attire was completed with two green dragon-shaped necklaces that hung from her ears and draped just above her shoulders. Riri even included a dragon emoji () as a caption, alluding to her formidable accessories. (Perhaps it was also a tribute to Gucci’s strange autumn 2018 catwalk show, which included baby dragons.)
The singer didn’t say where she wore the Gucci ensemble, but it doesn’t really matter. We would have applauded her even if she had just been playing dress-up at home.
If Rihanna’s post-party fashion Instagrams are any indication, 2018 may be her most fashionable year ever.
