Sajid-Wajid’s first music produced was for Salman khan’s film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya in the year 1998. Then, later on, they geared music for Sonu Nigam’s album Deewaana in which the songs were Deewaana Tera, Iss Kadar Pyaar Hai, and Ab Mujhe Raat Din. They composed several music films such as Kal Kissne Dekha, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Jaane Hoga kya, The Killer, Gunaah, Chori Chori and Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai.
Both brothers worked as music directors of the film Hello Brothers and wrote the songs Hata Saawan ki Ghata, Chupke Se Koi Aayega, and Hello Brother. They also advise or teach the contestants for the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 and created a title track for the television reality show Bigg Boss 4 and Bigg Boss 6. The big break for them as composing the theme song for IPL 4 Dhoom Dhoom Dhoom. They also performed on stage live shows.
The duo directors had composed music for various films Dabangg, No Problem, Ek Tha Tiger, Wanted, Patner, God Tussi Great Ho, Hello, Tere Naam, etc.
