Following their highly publicized breakup two months ago, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello appear to be on excellent terms. The former couple reunited in a Miami park on Jan. 6, where they were seen strolling their golden retriever, Tarzan.
According to photographs acquired by TMZ, the former Fifth Harmony member wore a beige-colored, sleeveless sundress with flat sandals for the afternoon outing, while the 23-year-old “Mercy” singer wore a basic white tee, light-wash denim, and black sneakers.
Though some assumed that the pop stars had rekindled their romance, the friendly exes could simply be making an attempt to be excellent co-parents to their pup and maintain their status as “best friends” as promised.
Shawn was caught out in Miami the next day, this time shirtless on the beach and without his ex-girlfriend.
In November 2020, the “Senorita” singers welcomed the puppy into their lives, shortly after self-isolating in Camila’s Miami house during the epidemic.
Camila commented on Instagram, “During uncertain times like this, we need a reminder that sweet wonder things like puppies exist in the world too,” as she introduced the furry family member. “Tarzan sends a big puppy lick to you folks.”
Shawn also took to Instagram to announce the arrival of the newest member of the pack, posting a series of lovely photographs and videos. Shawn was in the driver’s seat when the lively puppy was observed in the backseat of a car, sitting on his new mother’s lap. Tarzan discovers the phone camera in a different video.
“He likes himself,” the singer of “Havana,” said. “That’s a good sign,” says the narrator.
