There’s a saying in Hindi that says Teen Tigada Kaam Bigada. Well, we have the teen tigadas Sonu Kakkar, Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar who are right now at the peak of their careers. They have the industry in their grasp with their mellifluous voice. Here’s a little backstory on the Kakkar siblings.

They were born at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand and later moved to Delhi. The Kakkar family was a normal sweet simple family where the father used to sell samosas outside the school and college. Sonu Kakkar is the eldest followed by Neha Kakkar and the smallest sibling is Tony Kakkar.

The trio used to sing bhajans at jagaratas and earn 50 bucks. They have been singing since they were kids with not much official training in music. People loved them and now they are favourite of millions. Sonu Kakkar started her career with Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo that to date is considered to be one of the most energetic songs people love to show off some moves on. Her voice has a folk touch that synchronizes with her heart.

The second sibling loved by all is a Chota packet with bada dhamaka, Neha Kakkar loved for her peppy voice and popularly known as Indian Shakira. She came to Mumbai with her brother and was a contestant at Indian Idol season 2 and returned to be the judge for the same show decades later. Today she is loved for her grooves like Garmi, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, Chamma Chamma and many more.

The youngest among the trio is Tony Kakkar who started as a music composer starting with Saawan Aaya Hai and then got into singing, not just Bollywood numbers but also a few singles of his own. With Coca Cola, he surely did make some noise in the industry and has sung along with his sister songs like Mile Ho Tum Humse. Goa Beach, Dheeme Dheeme are his other hits.

The three Kakkars are amazing singers with great talented voices. They have a long way to go and may their route be filled with success.
