Both of them bring something different to the table. Suga and J-Hope have the best chemistry in the rap line though. Whenever they do verses back to back it’s like a ray of heavenly light. Frankly, we are team Suga as well as team J-Hope. We are spoilt for choice but here’s what the fans have to say.
J-HOPE
I’m not sure if this is controversial, but I’ve never seen a viewpoint like this on this subreddit. Suga and RM, on the other hand, are better known for their rap verses. However, I think J-Hope’s are greater to RM and Suga in terms of flexibility and how appealing they are. Fake Love, Airplane Pt2, Anpanman, Idol, ON, Black Swan are some examples of comeback songs that support this viewpoint. This opinion is not limited to title tracks, but also includes b-sides like Home and UGH. When J-Hope is given the opportunity to shine, he truly excels. This is in stark contrast to their earlier tracks, in which RM and Suga ruled the roost. I’m not saying RM and Suga don’t have decent rap verses anymore; on the contrary, they do.
SUGA
Suga easily has such a unique tone and delivery, no one else really sounds like him. RM and J-Hope sound like a dozen other K-pop rappers, they’re definitely good, but Suga is the best. Suga makes Magic Shop and Mic Drop, the top 2 BTS songs, fly. In short, Suga has charm that no one has had till date.
