Whether there is something K-pop artists are good at, it’s blowing your heads with their on- then off outfits. Some of them like to keep it simple and calm while they’re not on the job, whereas others reap the benefits of the chance to turn any street or airfield into a field and to be frank, we’re here for both. BTS’s Suga has established a balance between the two by embracing his personal style while remaining at ease, paying careful attention to detail with the assistance of cosmetics and standout items.
Prints in Stacks
Yoongi’s favorite thing to accomplish in terms of style is layering patterns on top of each other, with floral designs being one of his favorites. This simple black outfit is covered with a large-sleeved patchwork shirt, a Scottish scarf, and another of his signatures: a hat. You’ve got a winning Suga ensemble when you put them all together.
Chanel’s King
I’m certainly stating that this is my greatest Suga costume of all time, but maybe, just perhaps, that’s what I’m implying. This outfit, inside a way, beautifully portrays Yoongi’s character, with Chanel all over but in a subtle manner, a touch of flair with the trench coat over a leather jacket, and the warmest of beanies.
Feelings of Emo
I feel like it would be a sin if I didn’t mention this appearance. This attire dubbed the “emo guy,” immediately attracted ARMY’s attention when it first saw the light of day. Suga’s grown-out hair obscuring his eyes, a simple black-pants-white-shirt ensemble, and some quirky earrings and necklaces made this one become an outstanding favorite for many.
Reality in All-Black
I’m sure you’ve been waiting for this. I’ll admit that I worry about this ensemble a lot more than I should, and I may not have reproduced it in the wintertime. When it comes to Yoongi’s style, dark is a must-have. Though some may believe there wasn’t much consideration put into it, oh yeah, there was. The belts, buckles, and zippers, as well as the bags, cap, and boots. Everything is nicely coordinated on black-silver neutral colors that he masters.
Ca(ra)mel with Mint
Isn’t it true that we all miss Mint Yoongi deep down in our hearts? While he can carry off any look, his mint hair and camel coat go together perfectly here. His all-black ensemble is given a bit of drama with an enormous camel coat, a lengthy necklace, and, of course, the characteristic beanie.
Colors of the rainbow
Yes, we all know Yoongi favors all-black ensembles, but he occasionally dazzles us with colorful ones as well. Because of the way the colors light up his features and skin tone, this one is a popular favorite. Did you know this sweater was sold out the moment he wore it? If you have a pair of blue jeans, you can easily recreate this style because an oversized sweater is usually a good look.
The devil is in the details
This is an excellent illustration of Suga’s attention to detail. At first glance, this outfit appears to be nothing more than black pants, black shoes, a white shirt, and a blue coat, but it’s the small elements that elevate this into a fashionable ensemble. The purse, the bucket hat, and the plaid shirt poked out from behind the coat. Another ensemble that we can’t seem to get enough of.
Black has several facets.
Here’s another all-black look, but this time with a different mood, since who said all-black had to be boring? It’s identical to the one above, yet it’s distinct due to one simple factor: the big short. This is one of those versatile looks: it can be worn in the morning or at night, for work or play… It’s an all-in-one appearance that we admire Suga’s ability to pull off.
It’s time for some shorts!
We don’t see Suga in shorts as much as we used to, but oh, how we loved it when he was really into it that summer. This one is a favorite since the patterns and colors are still very much him, but they’re different from what we’re used to. Accessories like the headphones, cap, bag, and shoes elevate the look to the runway-worthy status once more.
It’s a Plaid World Out There
Another item that sold out due to Suga’s presence was the legendary yellow plaid shirt. As I previously stated, Suga has the ability to take an outfit to a whole new level by adding a beautiful statement piece to it. In this case, it was Yoongi’s plaid shirt, which has since been reproduced by hundreds of firms using photographs of Yoongi as inspiration.
