Global Media & Entertainment hosts the Global Awards, which honor music broadcast on the Global network’s British radio stations, including Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, LBC, and Gold, with award categories reflecting the songs, artists, programs, and news broadcast on each station.
On the red carpet, Dua Lipa is always the right amount of . The Future Nostalgia singer wore a risqué high-slit black fitting maxi dress to the 2020 Global Awards, which will put Angelina Jolie’s iconic leg moment to shame.
Dua’s black Mugler maxi dress was well-proportioned, with long sleeves and a high neckline that was covered head-to-toe with silver oval-shaped buttons, revealing her beautifully toned legs via the garment’s hip-high leg slit. Dua accessorized her gown with black tights, Gianvito Rossi stiletto sandals in black satin, her distinctive black-and-blond hair, and pewter sparkling smokey eye makeup. Her white painted nails have butterfly designs that we adore.
Dua wasn’t the only one who opted for a black-and-silver embroidered ensemble for the Global Awards in 2020. Ellie Goulding’s latex and puff sleeve dress with silver polka dots and Paige Turley’s black velvet blazer dress with silver embroidery both adhered to the unspoken dress code.
The Global Awards 2021 are now open for nominations!
This year’s categories include Best Female, Best Male, Best Group, Best Classical Artist, Best Indie Act, and Rising Star, all honoring the stars of music, news, and entertainment.
