Carole King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Oct. 30, and Taylor Swift was there to witness it. Carole originally co-wrote and sang “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?” and the singer, 31, opened the 2021 Induction ceremony with it.

The hitmaker also made a speech in honor of the legendary vocalist, who is only the third woman in music history to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“I grew up dancing around the living room in socked feet to Carole’s lovely voice, compelling melodies, and words that I, a 7-year-old, thought had been crafted for my exact, specific life experience,” Taylor said. “I get the same tingle of recognition when I listen to Carole’s songs now.”

Taylor returned in a huge manner for this performance after keeping a low profile for several months. She looked lovely in a Sarah Regensburger lace catsuit and Louis Vuitton boots. It will be the singer’s second previous album that she has re-recorded so that she can own the masters.

Taylor’s Version includes nine additional songs in addition to the tracks from the original album, as well as a full 10-minute version of fan-favorite “All Too Well.” “Better Man” and “Babe,” which were previously recorded by Little Big Town and Sugarland, respectively, are two of the newly added tracks.
