During the eighth season of the U.K. version of The X Factor, the British female group Little Mix was created. They were the first group to triumph in the contest, and Syco Music, the record company, owned by Simon Cowell, signed them as a result of their success. Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall make up the group. DNA, the debut album by Little Mix, reached the top 10 in ten different countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., after its release in 2012. Little Mix surpassed the Spice Girls’ previous record for the highest debut U.S. chart position by a British girl group, reaching the U.S. top 5 with their debut album. This made them the first girl group to do so since the Pussycat Dolls. In addition, “Move” and “Salute,” which appeared on the album, reached the top 10 in their home nation. Get Weird, Little Mix’s third studio album has been their best-selling and longest-charting album in the U.K. It was released in 2015.
The Little Mix ladies are well understood for matching their ensembles, yet each has a unique sense of style. They all had wardrobes that would make us incredibly envious, that is certain.
The girls looked put together and stunning while playing it safe and keeping things simple for their first red carpet appearances. Choosing an all-black theme made sense because it demonstrated harmony. However, avoiding any risky decisions too soon was also a wise move.
In a word, “bold” would best describe 2012’s fashion—everything from the hairstyles to the colors, clunky shoes, and more. Wearing the most extravagant, eye-catching ensembles was the only way to be on top of your fashion game this year. These outfits the girls donned for The Brit Awards 2012 would likely have been our favorites if we were still living in that era, but as we look back on it now, it’s a disgrace. Jade salvages this ensemble with her checked co-ord over a sheer pink shirt and famous bow tie, which, to be fair, we would still wear.
2015 was a fantastic year for fashion, and Little Mix looked gorgeous at the Radio 1 Teen Awards. All the girls were dressed in black, except for Jade, who wore a maroon bralette, which gave them a classy and mature look while adhering to the bad-gal energy trends of 2015. The girls look stunning even though it is fairly uniform, limiting how much they may exhibit their personalities.
