The Bangtan Boys, popularly known as BTS, are a seven-member South Korean boy band created by Big Hit Entertainment. In July 2017, the moniker subsequently turned into a backronym for Beyond the Scene. To celebrate their debut on June 13, 2013, they gave a performance on June 12 with “No More Dream,” a track from their debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool.
When Ashley Park’s character, Mindy Chen, sang BTS’ “Dynamite” in one of the episodes from the just-released Season 2, the BTS ARMY, who also happen to be fans of Emily in Paris, shrieked with ecstasy. Along with the devoted fanbase, two BTS members expressed their gratitude for the show for performing their Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 track and giving it the full Emily in Paris treatment!
RM and V, the head of Bangtan, were those two members. V posted the same scene on Instagram with his caption, tagging Emily on Paris’ IG page and adding a black and white heart “TaeTae” seal of approval. This was done while RM posted an Instagram Story, sharing a similar laugh over the epic Dynamite number. No other than Emily in Paris’ lead, Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, who gleefully wrote, “WE’RE IN THE STARS TONIGHT! #BTSARMY,” echoing a line from Dynamite, shared Kim Taehyung’s post on her Instagram Story (after learning about the post from the Christmas Tree singer through Emily in Paris’ Instagram Story)!
Lee Jung Jae, the star of Squid Game and a Golden Globe nominee, was a new celebrity friend that V recently made. Lee Jung Jae helped V persuade the BTS ARMY to join the second season. Go to the link in our ALSO READ section below to view the star-studded snapshot.
