Lady Gaga, the pop sensation turned movie star (and Golden Globe nominee), has evolved her meat dress style to give out some of the year’s best red carpet costumes. She wore a feathery Valentino gown with Chopard earrings to the Venice premiere of her film A Star Is Born.

The Pierpaolo Piccioli gown, appropriately dubbed “Flamingo,” became the year’s most talked-about red carpet moment. Even the rain couldn’t stop Gaga from stealing the show at the premiere of A Star Is Born. Her stylists even dubbed it “the most magical moment”: “The rain began to fall. The scenery, the rain and lightning, the intensity — it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us.”

The singer chose a Valentino Couture masterpiece, suitably dubbed the “Flamingo” by the house’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, with the help of stylists Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador. To say the least, it was covered with far more pink feathers than we’d ever seen all at once.

Lady Gaga embraced the whimsical appearance, twirling under the raindrops with her Chopard jewels gleaming, and boy, did she make it look effortless. However, we doubt that this garment was as light as it appeared to be. Here’s a heads up: you’ll want to spend hours scrolling through the photos from this movie premiere, and it’s allowing this inventive confection of a gown.
