Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are quite the adorable couple. The two of them individually have made quite a name for themselves in the industry. They have also had quite a few struggles of their own with their acting careers. Sophie Turner once talked about how Joe Jonas allegedly broke up with her a day before the wedding.
As per a Harper’s Bazaar report, Sophie Turner revealed that Joe Jonas has once broken off their relationship when things were a little rocky. She said, “It was the worst day of our lives.” She added, “For a second we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both, like, ‘Never mind.’” They were quick to realize that they still wanted to be together.
Turner also revealed that she wasn’t in a great place mentally and it was Jonas who helped her recover. The actress had found fame at the young age of 13 with her role as Sansa Stark. Online critics had quite an effect on her mental health at that young age.
“Having your adolescence being displayed in public, that’s something I really wish hadn’t happened,” She stated. “Being in the age of social media when that’s happening, I think I would be a much saner person if I hadn’t been documented from 13 — your most awkward, uncomfortable, unsure-of-yourself years.”
She sought professional help from a therapist when she “stopped having her period for a year” because of her eating issues. She stated that Jonas helped her overcome this phase. She explained, “He was, like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself, I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself.’ That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
The two of them secretly tied the knot at a Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. She looked gorgeous in her Bevza silk jumpsuit. Their wedding was shared on Instagram after DJ-producer Diplo shared some footage of the ceremony on his Instagram story.
