BTS, one of the most popular South Korean artists in the world, has made quite a few records and won many different accolades. But that isn’t the only time that rose to the occasion! These boys have not just broken records but also destroyed stereotypes! Here are 10 outfits that BTS donned that defied gender stereotypes. Check it out:

1) The corset from Black Swarm for Map Of Souls:
Who said corsets are only for women? Jimin slayed the look while styled in a leather corset not only in the concept photos but even in the official MV.

2) Map Of the Soul: Persona:
Gender stereotypes deem pink as a feminine color. That did not stop BTS from choosing it as the color for their album! It was quite an aesthetically pleasing shade of pink! The MV for Boy With Luv had costumes in the same shades.

3) The Love Yourself: Answer (Version S) concept outfits:
The outfits picked for the concept photos featured ruffles, gems, flamboyant prints, and colors. These generally go against the stereotypical men’s fashion but BTS made it work. J-Hope in particular was styled in a satin blouse and a half-skirt with lace socks which looked fabulous.

4) Singles:
For a photoshoot with Singles Magazine, the boys were donned in traditionally feminine apparel consisting of fishnets, skirts, corsets, and stockings.

5) Suga’s GUCCI shoes:
In the MAP OF SOUL: Persona concept photos, Suga was donned in women’s GUCCI sneakers.

6) V’s street style:
V isn’t afraid to dress outside the ordinary boundaries of fashion. He once rocked a skirt and legging combo that look extremely chic!

7) RM’s airport fashion:
Just like V, RM too was once styled in a skirt as well!

8) Jimin’s earrings:
Putting labels on accessories is useless, earrings are something every gender should be allowed to wear without an added label. Jimin once wore a pair of years that would traditionally be considered women’s accessories.

9) J-Hope’s bags:
Most men prefer wearing pants with multiple pockets so they can forgo using a bag. But J-Hope has quite the collection of purses, satchels, and bags that some might consider feminine.

10) Jungkook’s opinion on gender in fashion:
As per a Koreaboo report, Jungkook once stated to Vanity Fair magazine when asked about great style, he said, “Wearing anything you like, regardless of gender.”
