On Tuesday, 26 July, MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced. Singers like Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar have seven nods and are leading in the race, while Doja Cat and Harry Styles compete with six nods each. However, other artists nominated this year are Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd.

The show will go on air on Sunday, 18 August 28. While the show was hosted by Doja Cat last year but this year’s host is not yet decided. This will be a musical night with lots of fun and honour.
